I've Been Sitting in the Owner's Chair, Too

Before becoming a bookkeeper, I spent years building businesses of my own.

I've owned businesses in the transportation, pet-sitting, real estate, and notary industries,

including a women-owned, women-operated car service. I've also worked as a realtor and l

oan signing notary.

I've experienced the excitement of starting a business.

I've experienced the long hours.

I've experienced the uncertainty.

And I've experienced what it's like to be responsible for making the numbers work.

I've also spent approximately 20 years working in the corporate IT world,

after beginning my professional journey as a TESL teacher and living in different parts of the world.

That combination of experiences has shaped how I approach bookkeeping today.

I understand that business owners don't just need someone to categorize transactions.

They need someone who understands that behind every transaction is a business owner

trying to make a living, serve customers, meet payroll, pay the bills, and build something meaningful.

That's why I strive to be more than just your bookkeeper.

I want to be a trusted resource you can turn to when you have questions about your books

and your business finances.

A Little About Me

​

I've lived and worked in different parts of the world, but today I'm happy to call

North Naples, Florida, home.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll often find me taking a walk along the

beach or searching for seashells.

I love animals and still occasionally indulge my love of pet sitting by caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits.

And on Saturdays?

You might find me at the Naples Zoo, where one of my favorite activities is feeding the giraffes.

I also have a passion for writing. I'm a published author under a pen name

and am currently working on my next book.

Apparently, I haven't quite learned how to sit still yet.
